On the second day we pulled out the donkey and discussed why it was part of the nativity.
Our activity for today is:
The Gift of Service video on Christ Centered Christmas blog -It's the season to think of others, go shopping and get a gift for someone (sub for Santa or Angel Tree). Go through your toys and donate them.
The kids put together a little list of others they thought of to get a present for this year, each having $5 to spend. They loved this! Especially the part where they could wrap up their gifts and think about how that person will feel when they are given their present. We also went through our things and pulled out what we don't use anymore to give to good will.
