Camp Twin Lakes

Our ward had a service project going on at Camp Twin Lakes this year. We got to go up and play with a bunch of kids from church. We watched a movie, Tom and Jerry, we played on the play ground, made Christmas ornaments, had relay races, played on a blow-up bouncer, and colored pictures. It was a lot of fun! McKenna said her favorite was the movie!

Gingerbread Houses

We love spending time with our friends Lorali and Ethan! We got to make ginger bread houses with them last week.

Lost Tooth

Bryson lost his first tooth! He's been wiggling it for about a month and finally got up the nerve to just pull it out himself. He was so excited. He placed his tooth in a plastic bag to stick under his pillow, but by the time he went to bed he had misplaced his tooth. The tooth fairy came anyway and left him a note and some money, which he loved!

White Belt

Bryson has earned his white belt and was very excited about it! McKenna also receieved her's a few days after Bryson did.

Happy Thanksgiving!

McKenna:"I am thankful for giving presents to my friends, and sharing the gospel." Bryson: "I am thankful that I have a family, for food to eat and water to drink, I am thankful that there are trains in the world because I LOVE trains!"

10 Day 'Vacation'

We were house sitting for some friends for ten days and the kids absolutely loved every minute of it! They were constantly entertained by something; with a creek in the far back of the yard, rock wall, play-set, jungle gym, two trampolines, rope swing, pogo sticks, roller blades, bikes, slip'n slide, wii, trains, forts, etc.... the list is almost endless! They of coarse still had to attend school and Bryson really liked that he got to ride a different bus to school. In his words, "Mom, this bus is so much better than my own because it's cleaner and the bus driver doesn't yell because he's not old!" It was bitter-sweet for the kids to go back home because they really didn't want to leave the "fun" house, but at the same time they were really missing all of their own things.
