Bryson's Thanksgiving Program

Leaves

Monday night we went outside to rake up the leaves that have fallen all over our yard. Bryson and McKenna were a great help. The best part was jumping in them!!

Bryson was invited to two birthday parties last Saturday, at the same place! The first party was at 2pm for Andre. I took Kenna so she wouldn't feel too bad and they really had a great time!! They both said their favorites were the motions rides. The one with the dinosaurs and you have to try and shoot them before they attack you; then the roller coaster! Kenna was laughing so hard at the motion each ride would make to match the picture on the screen. The second party was just for Keegan and this one was just for Bryson to attend so I dropped him off. When we picked him up, Keegan's mom had extra tokens and gave some to Kenna, which of coarse she loved!! This time she ran into the "real" ChuckE and she got to give him a high five!

Kenna's Quilt

I have been working on this quilt for Kenna for a couple months now. It is mostly done, just needs to be tacked to the backing and edges cut so they fray. She so badly wants a purple bedroom and I couldn't find a comforter that seemed fitting for Kenna. So I decided to try my hand at making one for her! She helped pick out the fabric for the squares and I embroidered the larger flower prints. The quilt is just the start of what she is getting. I'm very excited to have the whole project completed!

Awesome Helpers!

Bryson and Kenna have been such great helpers! They really enjoy helping in any way they can with dinner, cleaning the house, yard work, and just about anything to put a sticker on their chore chart! Kenna wants to save up her money to get a puppy, named BOLT. And Bryson just enjoys the rewards of helping! They have both been excellent to volunteer to help!

Sleep Deprived

I took this picture of Kenna when she was sick. I went upstairs to check on her before heading to bed myself and found this over her eyes! If I knew that she slept better with her room being darker, I never would've given her a night light( at her request)! These next two pictures were taken Halloween day! Phil and I attended our friends Murder Mystery Dinner Party the previous night so the kids spent that night at Grandpa and Grandma Hall's. Apparently they didn't get much sleep because they both crashed not long after I picked them up. Bryson feel asleep on the floor, while watching a movie.

McKenna, on the other hand, I found her in the bathroom. She had gone up to use the bathroom and when I hadn't seen her for a while I went to see if she needed some help. Come to find out she had pulled off her pants and underwear, grabbed her bathroom towel to wrap around her, and laid down on the floor next to the tub.

Kenna's better!

After five days of being under the weather, Kenna is feeling so much better! She held a temperature of 103 for 24 straight hours. Took her into the doctors and she was diagnosed with the flu. She stayed at a fluctuating temp of 99 to 101 for a few days later, but had only thrown up once from gagging on some medicine. So we know that we definitely don't have the flu at our house! Kenna spent each day just sleeping, sleeping, and more sleeping. Wasn't interested in anything but liquids and is now just starting to eat some solids again. She is doing great and feeling so much better!

Perfect Day

We had a great time enjoying the warm fall weather and feeding the ducks!

It's been a crazy week for us! Poor Kenna is sick with the flu. Updated postings are soon to come; as soon as things slow down a bit.
