Bryson wanted a picture of him and Gavin put up on the blog, so here it is! Unfortunately, Gavin didn't want to hold still long enough to get him looking at the camera, but this one was Bryson's favorite.

Read-a-thon

Sunday, now that we have early morning church, we have lots of extra time to spend together. Gavin was going down for a nap so I asked the kids to find something quiet they could do.  They decided to build forts out of the couch pillows and grab some books and start reading. It was really cute and a fantastic idea!

Old Mac Donald

McKenna had her school play last Monday night and she was amazing! She knew all the words to the songs as well as the signs and motions! I loved her facial expressions during the performance. She got to be lost sheep with her class. They all did a great job.

I am still trying to compile the video together, so as soon as I have it done I will post it.  I will also(hopefully) be sending it out to Utah with them as a DVD, over spring break. Either way, you will see it, promise!

Rosa Parks

I'm a little late, but better late than never! Bryson has worked so hard on this Civil Rights project. He chose to do his project on Rosa Parks by sharing the information he learned via video as a news cast reporter. HA! He did a fabulous job. He wasn't as excited about this project as he was the last one, but after some grunting and complaining he gathered some great information and made an awesome video. Enjoy!

McKenna has learned a lot about Abe Lincoln at school and came home with her fancy new head dress. Doesn't she look fabulous!
Bryson has gotten to choose from the treasure box just about everyday this past week and came home with these awesome glasses!
McKenna and I took a date last night and I surprised her with getting the McKenna book. She was excited and is very excited to read it together!
